Whether it’s a new technique, a new hire or new piece of software, be watchful for anything that can help you in automating your business. Collectively, each bit of automation can save you hours of wasted time to work on other, more productive things.

- Wordpress 2.2 Delayed For The Best | Leave a Comment
The anticipated Wordpress v2.2 had just being announced to be delay for at least a week or two for more cleanup and better release.
A while back, the WordPress development team decided to aim for date-targeted, quarterly releases, to speed up the development cycle. One of the main things this does is to give more frequent updates, but with fewer “big” new features in each release.
The target for WordPress 2.2 was set for around April 23.
Although the delay, I believe a lot of people can still bare since it is for the best in the long run. The latest delayed got to do with brushing up the built-in tagging system to make it more flexible for the end user.
Up to date, they have already implement 216 features, bugs and fixes in such a short time.

The primary purpose for SEO siloing plugin is to create category landing pages, which are static pages with links to all the postings in a given category. You can, however, use it to create pages with lists of posts in any category. You can even use the plugin in posts, but you’ll have to explicitly specify a category name/ID.For each category in your blog, create a static page (not a post) whose “post slug” (the name of the file) exactly matches the “category slug” of the category. By default, the category slug is the name of the category converted to all lowercase and with hyphens replacing spaces. For example, the “List Building” category’s slug is “list-building”. You can view a category’s slug from the Categories page under the Manage option of the admin console.

After waiting for quite some time, I finally upgraded this blog and my personal blog to Wordpress 2.13. To my surprise nothing broke and all the plugins were working as they should. I had delayed upgrading to 2.1.X because both these blogs were already of substantial size, and I had to be really sure that an upgrade process will not mess things up.Now it’s also time to upgrade the Wordpress Adsense System, which has been selling great since August 2006. Among the updates I plan to make:
- Simplified Process - I’ll actually be taking out chunks of materials that may confuse the absolute beginner
- Advanced Strategies - I’ll be including several advanced Wordpress tips for advanced users, but these will either be at the end of the ebook or on a separate special report.

With all the buzz on the upcoming Wordpress v2.2 due this 22nd April, a lot of people come to wonder on what will the final features be on its launch.
Regarding on what to expect :

- Multiple format comments feed including Atom

- Additional XML-RPC APIs for pages and such.

By just looking at the features, looks like Wordpress v2.2 is more worthy of an upgrade if compare to Wordpress v2.1. However we still have 2 more weeks to go before the launch (if they aren’t any delay) to see the final features installed.
