I’ve tried using PLR articles to create automated blogs in the past, but there was always one big headache I could not solve.
PLR articles tend to come in pure text (.txt) files and to copy each into my blog is tedious. Sometimes the files are in ZIP format, which means even more work as you’ll have to unzip them, organize the articles and then upload each one to your blog. Seems like a lot of work for content that isn’t 100% unique anyways! The only option was to pay someone to do it for me.
The was a problem begging for solutions, and it didn’t take long (well actually it did) for a decent solution to appear.
Blog Warrior Elite is an online platform that turns your PLR articles into blog content easily, and automates the entire process so you just need to upload everything once and your blog content is taken care of for the next few months. Even if you’re not into PLR but have a network of blogs, you can use Blog Warrior Elite to schedule your blog content, so that you can publish posts even when you are too far away from your computer.
Here’s how it works:
- Scans article folders and uploads all content you select
- Drip-feeds articles to any or all of your WordPress blogs under the proper category or subcategory
- Lets you have the articles appear in a different order on each WordPress site
- Allows cross-linking articles on one site to different articles on another.
- Posts your articles all at once, in batches, or schedule automatic posting of batches
- Access to your articles from any computer with an Internet connection.
- Full reporting built right in, so you can see what’s been posted and what is scheduled
- Uses CopyScape to check for duplicate content so you can make sure your articles are as original as possible
Blog Warrior Elite is 100% web based which means no cumbersome software to install, and it’s also great news for the much abandoned Mac users
If writing is a struggle for you, work with a ghost writer or freelancer who can convey the message you need to in your blog. Give the writer several topics of interest to blog readers and ask for 300-600 word articles. Once you have approved those articles, you may set them up for distribution to your blog.
However, even with this software you’ll need to do your own SEO work to make sure you can get decent organic web traffic to your blogs. Creating an army of blogs is useless unless you’re getting some traffic.
What do you think?

Gobala – a long time ago I thought that PLR articles might be useful for new content on my (many) sites… and then I realised that the biggest headache with PLR is that, to make much of it useful, it needs to be totally re-written – i.e. 99.9% of it is total crap in its original form!
So to “pump” hundreds of articles through this type of software… arghhh! Sorry, my brain goes into meltdown at the thought of lots of people doing this without at least checking the original articles… which is what WILL happen!
The key is to have QUALITY, ORIGINAL content on your site. If you must use PLR articles, then use them only for inspiration for the original content you should be writing!
Cheers
Stephen

You’re right in that aspect, but it all boils down to your expectations. When using PLR stuff most people do it with a different business model, ie build and sell blogs. Not to create authority sites, as you mentioned it would be cheaper and better to have original content developed rather than re-writing it.
You should use PLR articles if you know what you’re doing, it can work.
