It’s Time For Some Link Love
Since I have an absolute blockage in my head after exhausting myself on my own blog on a rare rant, I thought to cool down a little and be nice for a change. Therefore why not give out some link love to some of our existing and faithful readers instead.
As a blogger I know of the importance of appreciating readers, since they are our bread and butter when it comes to survival and I’m sure Gobala would agree with me on this wholeheartedly.
First up we have Andrew Pavelski who runs a very schmick looking blog over at his own web real estate. On his about page he refers to himself as
one damn fine gentlemen on a mission to make $10 million dollars with his website.
All I can say is, he truly is. Andrew has enriched our comment section quite extensively over the last few weeks. He might have been lurking around before, but I started to take note of him because he actually contributes to the conversations (hint). So go and give him a hand on his quest and purchase some stuff. I’m not sure on how far he has progressed toward his goal, but he sure as hell is a very nice man.
The next person is a very special lady who has had nothing but hardship in her life so far. Despite her rather sad story, she is a power house of a woman who has done nothing but impress me with her resolve to keep going until…
My own life has been riddled with hardship and downfalls, but compared to Arlene it is nothing to worry about. I’ve had the lucky fortune of getting to know Arlene Whiting on a very personal basis and if you are lucky, she might share her very personal story with you one day.
The best chances to get to know her a little better is to meet her on SU, or even better visit her blog. Arlene calls herself the Displaced Entrepreneur and after reading a little about her, you’ll know why.
Kay Kastum seems to be a happy man, because he thinks Life is Good on his blog about his life, the Internet and making money. Plus he seems to be a good buddy of Gobala’s and buddies of Gobala are buddies of me.
His blog contains an interesting concoction of many things and I’m super jealous of his pics on the Internet Millionaire’s Mastermind Session. Sometimes it sucks being in Australia.
But admittedly only when those kind of events take place in some other part of Asia.
Last but not least I’d like to put the spotlight onto a very helpful blogger who went to great lengths not so long ago to explain in detail on how I could convert those damn videos from my digital camera to be accepted by Windows Movie Maker. (I hate technology when it doesn’t work instantly - especially Windows).
Ai Ling ONG helps us to Get Started With The Internet on her blog. She sees herself as somewhat rebellious and we also share at least one other trait many would kill for. A passion for travel. Maybe one day we’ll meet in the great outdoors Ai Ling ONG.
She’s got some groovy information on her blog and is well worth a visit.
For all you other dudes who have missed out on our link love, please note that we here at Profit Blogger value comments who help to contribute to the conversation.
As an editor I normally delete comments that are defamatory and are only intended to advertise your services, so please, don’t even bother.
Unfortunately, there is only space for so many bums (ahem royals) on seats and this table is full right now.
Better luck next time. Thanks to you all and I love you guys.

Well I know the feeling of exhausting in creating one detailed post, so now just been some Stumbling and I get here. Gonna visit those blog you mentioned.
Great post..expect some unexpected link love from all the people scrapping this content also
Hey Monika, I definitely appreciate the link love and compliments. I had been lurking around here before — this blog is enjoyable to read and has great content! I will definitely continue to share my comments
I am so humbled just to be mentioned here. It’s like getting a free ticket to Steve Vai’s concert!
I respect and admired Gobala’s genuine effort by giving ‘the rest of us’ the opportunity to learn step by step on how you can monetize online.
Another reason I’m always dropping by is your posts Monika! There is always fresh new topics that are useful and yummy that you come up with.
@ Xigre: stumbling is always goo and thanks for stopping by.
@ Gobala: thanks, yeah, I didn’t even think about that. I guess you have so many scrapers they would fill their blogs in a day. They probably need an assistant to keep up with the blog posts.
@ Andrew: great to hear and the pleasure was all mine.
@ Kay: good things come from unexpected sources. I’m afraid I don’t know this Steve Vai guy. Hope this isn’t offensive and he isn’t some big star over your corner of the world.
Gobala does indeed help many people advance and have success in their business. Just look at me.
My writing has never been described as yummy and I kind of like that.
Might have to incorporate this into my new upcoming blog design.
Oh sorry about that. Lol. He’s actually a rock guitarist from US of A. One of my guitar idols of some sort.
Wow! Wow! My brother (Kay) is mentioned in this post! I’m so green with envy! lol!!
Links to new sites don’t often come with such warm introductions. Thanks, I’ll check them out.

Monika,
This is a very nice introductions and highlight of the people who contribute to the blog. Unfortunately too many people assume that comments section is only for getting backlinks
I guess too many people teach the process now days. I have to say I like how Andrew states his goal - bold and upfront, good luck to him and thanks for sharing.
@ Kay: Rock uhu, I’m not a big rock fan so please forgive my ignorance on this.
@ Cindy: great to see another member of Kay’s family. I find it awesome when family members all blog.
@ Kelly: thank you, the spotlight is all on those bloggers.
@ Alex: you are correct in that statement. Commenting is about contributing to the conversation and not hoping for a simple back link. I’m glad to say though that I have seen an increasing amount of blogs and a shift in the blogosphere where readers are active members of the community which is great.

I too will surely check out the websites listed. I just visited Andrew’s site and I am hoping he is meeting some of the expectations of his goals. I love anything that has to do with goal setting, which is something I write about in my articles. I don’t often comment on other blogs which is a bad habit of mine, but as I see that it certainly improves the online community experience and contribution factor, I’ll certainly improve on this. Thank you Monika and Gobala, you guys are awesome!
By the way Monika, just curious to know what’s your frequency of link love post. I had planned to write link love post for my top commentators and have saved the data pulled on 29th Feb. I plan to write link love post every month cause my top commentator list changes every month. But it seems your list changes every week, and this is not really feasible for you to write link love post every week, isn’t it.
@ Femi: I can only recommend this having experienced nothing but good from commenting on other blogs regularly. Making new friends and getting to know business partners is so much easier when we can interact with each other and blogs are an ideal platform for this.
@ LiC: that is a good question. I’m really not sure about this right now. I was thinking maybe every two weeks, but then I’d also like to do it whenever.
[...] time for another version of link love here on Easy WordPress. Since the last post about blogger comment recognition was received with so much gratitude I figured it wouldn’t hurt to do it again. Consider it a [...]
I dumped wordpress once and after trying Drupal, Joomla and what have you I am NOW back with wordpress! I am the “son who left the farm” only to return to the farm!! Whatever!

Hi Shawne! Your slogan, I feel, is part of the answer you’re looking for.
I am still learning about backlinks (what they are, etc) which I heard can give you a raise in Google rankings.
I have not had time to fully utilise Web 2.0 bookmarking sites like Digg and Technorati but I see it working for blogs and websites.
So these are a few things I think, can help drive a site’s visibility via Yahoo and Google search results for certain keywords. According to SEO experts, once site visibility is improved, your site traffic will naturally be higher.
And Google loves wordpress DEFINITELY (I use Wassup Plugin to see where my visitors come from so I know this for sure).
I was just wondering what Kelly is doing on some old post when there is a new one to comment on and realized that there is some interesting conversation is going on.
Kelly, I second your opinion while I think about Google’s love about wordpress blogs. But there is another side of the coin, you should optimize your wordpress blog post titles to become more search friendly and it works perfectly then.
Oh thank you LIC! Qool - I will check it out. 10Q again!
