Change The Admin Color Scheme of Your WordPress 2.5

Don’t like the new look of WordPress and wished it looked like the earlier versions? In WordPress 2.5x you can easily change between the new and old (similar but not the same) color schemes.

To do this, simply go to your dashboard, click on “Users” and on your own user profile. Then, you can choose between the “Classic” or “Fresh” admin color schemes.

Here’s the default look, and the alternate look you can switch to. You can get the “old” predominantly blue color but it’s just the colors; you cannot get the same layout as you would in WordPress 2.3 or earlier versions.

I’m sure in time individual developers will release different color schemes for WordPress, so you’ll be able to customize it further.

I was rather annoyed just a little form just how the new color looked until I saw the option to change back to the normal color scheme…

Also, I have been having trouble importing from another blog. Not sure if it’s an issue on the new wordpress or something. My previous commentators name including mine is not showing.
