my newbie introduction

Hi All

This is my introduction post to say hi to you all. My name is leslieg and I am looking forward to participating in this forum.

It is my intention to help and be helped. Let me thank you all in advance for the fantastic tips I am going to be receiving from you :-)

Any easywordpress users out there working with the adsense system please do feel free to make contact by introducing yourselves to me. I am looking to working my way up to guru status in record time :-) although a begginer with no past experience in programming or blogging but hey! why should that stop any of us right.

Welcome. I'm a newbie too, and found my way here after purchasing the Adsense System just before Christmas.

So far I have worked through it and used the advice to "tweak" my existing blog (typo). I seem to have increased visitor numbers but am yet to increase my Adsense income.

So I will be interested in following your progress. Good luck with it.

Firstly A Happy New Year to you. Thanks for the reply much appreciated. Thats a good start seeing an increase in your visitor numbers. You are clearly moving in the right direction :-)

Welcome on board. No worry there will be a alot tips and nice people to help you.

If you guys need any help, let me know for what ever i could.

But, my advice is you have to work extreme hard, late night, there is no easy way out there, forget all the hype there, like make a million in 3 days B****S. I have been there i know the all the many B***S in the online world, just be alert and never trust sales letter, before commit anything try to ask who ever you know......

Be focus, not information overload, persistance, and patience.....

Yes late nights......I think you mean early mornings :-) yep had plenty of those already.
How long have you been at it then? Are you doing an adsense system also?

Oh yes.............. As you mention it there is something you might be able to advise me on :-)

I have installed of the plugins all went ok. Have written one post and created some categories without any content in them.
The question is this. How is does on get the categories to link to the untitled or static home page.
I can see my post ok but category on main page says there are no categories.
Sorry but I could not resist asking you as I have been on this now for exactly 37 hours although I did get 5 hours sleep in the middle

As for your question, you mean after you make a post to that category, and when you click the link there it show nothing there? Did you specify the category when you make the post. This is very strange.

May be you can let me know your website address and i will see which area when wrong. Trying to help.

yep, like flwong said....after writing your post and assigning it to the proper category, the category listed on your frontpage should like directly to it automatically. unless you have played around with the link structure or something. try updating your permalink in options and see if that solves the problem..

I took a day off to clear my head as I was starting to get a little clouded :-)

My mistake I had my post on private and had set-up categories but without posting to any of the categories.
I have deleted all of the categories and published a post to the untitled category and renamed that category home as this seems logical.
So I have just 1 category at present and that is Home. This now shows on the page on the left hand top corner of my blank adsense site..progress.
Should I name the category slug home also? that part doesn't sound so logical as Its not a keyword of any kind. Any pointers here would be most helpful.
