Your Amazon affliate sidebar promotes unrelated products. I suggest u get it changed. Generally the blog look abit dull, but can be improved on.

Did asked about getting a better heading with this adsense theme; but so far no help.
If I change the theme now, will all my datas and format will have to be redo?

Hi Altres,

Basically your blog ia abit dull as mentioned by Growrich. Try to add some color to it to brighten up the blog.

1) Use bigger heading.

2) Try use the same heading color as your adsense link color, this might help the CTR for the adsense area.

3) I think the 2 colummn looks better with this contents.

4) Agreed with Growrich, the Amazon have different products shown, this is not so good since target audience is related to insurance.

I would suggest choosing another theme altogether and yeah maybe a 2 column theme, there are many themes out there just take one and modify to your liking.

Personally i've done that before, i modified a dull 1 column theme for my site and it looks great now (if i say so myself :P).

have a look at paultan.org, he has a good blog theme.

Thought it was recommeded to use this theme purely for adense??

I suggest you concentrate on the content first. seriously, as a first timer to your I would have closed it right away....

most people always got the wrong idea, stacking up all that ads and promos without putting much effort in the content inself.

I suggest:

1. determine your niche topic
2. get the contents, fresh....articles, directory..plr...etc. (as much as possible..the more the merrier.
3. try not to put so much ads on your page. choose which monetization you prefer to use....and emphasize on that more. for instance if you're aiming with adsense, make it stand out from the rest.
(note: check out google latest policy about running multiple different type of ads)
4. put the ads in places where people will see while reading your content or at the end of it where most probably people will look for other relevant info
5. be careful on your navigation. make easy for visitor to visit your other page ( good in terms of SEO too..)
6. get a decent tracking tools to see which ads combination interms of layout and position performs the best. change accordingly...

next, just put your own strategy in place....if you're serious about earning a decent income online...treat every single of your estate (site) preciously...and focus more on the visitor need.

my last tips, don't go for default theme...get the one you like and customize it as much as possible to be unique....
