Default Multiple Domains or Subdomains

I own a nice domain and I wanted to know if it worth creating sub domains or register multiple domains for my keywords. I would create a wordpress install on each of the subdomains for the keywords and then link them through to each other.

example

diet.domain.com health.domain.com cooking.domain.com rather than diet.com health.com cooking.com

is that the best thing to do or should I just go out and spend the $7 to register a new domain for each keyword ?

I guess I have heard people doing both but I just wanted to get some ideas from other wordpress SEO builders

Installing in multiple sub-domain is an good ideas.

Whether install in sub-domain or different domains have different advantages.

It is depends on what is your objective towards your site. Are you going to brand the only domain name? or you want to create a separate keywords. There is no rights or wrong in this.

The choice is really on you.

Are the keywords all related to one niche? Or are they different niches? My understanding is that Google considers overall content of a website when ranking each page (ranking means where your page will appear on the left side of the search results page). Of course the most important factor (for now) is the anchor text and quality of Inbound links to each page.

Subdomains are viewed as separate Websites, so are not good for your purposes. Best to create an authority site in your niche. Create separate pages for each keyword. Use linking strategies from your own pages linking to other pages. Page titles as links on your pages also serve as an internal linking strategy, good for ranking.
