Hi guys,

Here's http://www.aboutsinglewoman.com what I've come out with in a little over than 30 days. It's still so bland becuase there are so many things that I haven't learned to do yet. At this point of time of posting, I've haven't monetized.

Hope to get a few answers on these two questions:

How do I get rid of the "Meta" thing on the sidebar and list down the titles of my posts instead?

Do you guys think it's better to show excerpts or the full postings?

Hi Fatimah,

You have made a good start for your blog. The next challenge is to beautify your blog. I am not sure your blog is build for readership or for adsense earning purposes... if it is for the 1st one, you should insert more picture. If it is for 2nd purposes, you should add in adsense code.

The main page is using static front page feature in WP... again no catchy picture, visitors might leave without read further.

Also, did you use technorati to drive traffic to your site? Also, if you want to attract search engine to index your page, try to tag it with some keywords and submit to technorati. Refer to the WAS guide, you should know what i mean.

Hi there Mr Consultant,

Thanks for your time to review my blog.

I'm going for the second option and that is to make money from adsense and affiliate sales.

I set a goal to write 50 articles before I monetize. Guess what? I have reached that goal and have inserted the ads.

I've submitted to Technorati and a few other directories.

But I don't like how it my pages look right now. Pictures and images will definitely make them look better. Have a lot more to learn to get things right.

Will be dropping by here more often for assitance.
