Trackback is another form of linkback. It is to inform the other blog that you have a similar blog post and you want to link to each other with your blog post. For wordpress, it is always easier to guess what the trackback url. Take for example, http://yourdomain . com/blog-post/trackback is the trackback link for http://yourdomain . com/blog-post/. You just need to add trackback behind the normal post url. That's all. Of course, you can also look for trackback format link in some blogs, they do hv provide the link for reader convenience to pick up the trackback link. You don't neeed to bother about this unless you really want to do the link building exercise. In every blog post, you can always incorporate the trackack from other site. I hope this can answer your question. Thank you.

| Thanks - just to clarify: If I find blog post I want to trackback do I write a post on my blog with a link to that post, such as http://goodste.com/blog-post/trackback in my post? Or do I need to leave a commment at the other blog with a link to my post, such as http://mydomain.com/blog-post/trackback?
