| Hi All. I read somewhere it is less productive to place all the Adsense blocks you can on a page as it can dilute the high-paying clicks because you have so many ads. The low value ones appear too. Can someone confirm that the less ads you run, the higher the value clicks are more likely to show up and if so, some tactics that might work best (sidebar only? in context only? banner only?). I appreciate that the more blocks you have up to the maximum of three, the more visible your ads are, so I guess there is a tradeoff. Thanks Martin Haworth http://www.hawaiian-cruises-online.com/blog |

| Well, my personal opinion to this is, the lesser ad blocks, the better is... Any other opinions??

| I believe it totally depends on your sites niche and on the layout of your web pages and the location of the ads. The problem is that some people design their sites slightly wrong when it comes to adsense ads and therefore make the highest position ad block that they will get the most clicks from end up being the block that shows the lowest paying ads. Google Adsense uses the html source code, so the ad code that is shown furthest to the top in your html source code will be the one showing the highest ads and not from what your webpage shows.
