Problem with installing the plugin installer

Hi,

I am new and I am stuck with installing the wp plygin installer. Both ver 3 & 4 are shown as inccompatible on my wp dashboard.

Is there anybody who can help?

Hi Steven,

Thanks for your reply. In fact, I have gone thru all the steps you provided and in my WP Dashboard, I can activate the plugin installer and there was no error message.

But in the "Manage Plugin" tabs, its shows an error message "Incompatible plugin".

It happens for both ver 0.3 and ver 0.4 installer.

Do you know what's wrong?

Not that I know any other solution. In fact, since the last update, I haven't been using the installer long time. If you read the post correctly. You will know I gave up this script long time already.

My suggestion to you here again. Try learn how to use FTP to upload your plugins & themes, it is much easier for long run.
