Pulling blog post titles to another page

Hello! I am new here and found this site through google...

I looking to pull recent blog posts from our blog page domain.com/blog to our main page domain.com/index.html ....

Wordpress 2.2 is installed on our server, and we have the ability to run PHP on HTML pages.

I am guessing it is some sort of include....

For example on the main page it would say

Recent blog posts
Title one - by Author
Title Two - by Author
Title Three - by Author

Any idea on how to do this? Any and all help will be greatly appriciated.

You need rsstoblog to do this.
