Default Here to Learn - WordPress as a CMS

Hey everyone. I've been using WordPress for a little over a year now and I love it. I've learned so much about blogging, from how to install WordPress to how to customize themes and even SEO for WordPress.

I am now looking to take my skills to the next level. I have a network of blogs and I'd like to take some of my best blogs and transform them into a site like Easy WordPress. This looks like a great community to be in to learn that, and I'm hoping to get all the help I need.

I'm from a small town in North Carolina called Conover. Great to be here.

Kenny

Try the static front page option in your Wordpress Options page, that will make it look more like a website. Then you need to find a suitable theme..

Hey thanks,

I'd really like to make the front page have 3 columns with the first two pulling info from different categories. Like, the middle column would have blocks, each one showing a post from a particular category.

Default New Member with a problem

Hi everyone. I have built about 10 websites in dreamweaver but now I have switched to wordpress. I love it and the flexibility. I will be a user for life now.

I do have a problem though. The blog looks great in firefox but in internet explorer the top menu bar doesn't load properly. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix? Any help is greatly appreciated. www.creivox.com
