Missing Sidebar

Hi All,

I just starting the wordpress and installing the plugin for sidebar.

Anybody can advise the solution on how to recover back the sidebar from wordpress theme? Have tried to locate the sidebar with difference wordpress themes but still unable to get back the sidebar.

I don't really understand how you can lose your sidebar. Could you post your website up? Might be able to understand better if we can see what's wrong for ourselves

Hi All,

Finally I have resolved the problem. Now the blog showing sidebars. Let me share with you how to resolve the problem. There are 2 possibilties reasons of missing sidebar and footer:-
1) Some themes are not supported the wordpress new version. You need to change the themes. Solution: Change another theme.

2) Try not to install too much plugin, it will cause Internet Explorer unable to support largest plugin and cause sidebar & footer missing.
Solution: Deactivate some plugin.

Hi there

Le_on is here... I have just got my presentation link solved after months of it be out order. That means it wasn't there, it just went .. vanished.

Now I would like to place some thing there ... may be some text or better still all my affiliates links there. But I have no idea how to go about it. I do know this is done through the Presentation plugin I think. I would like some one or any one to take me by the hand and walk me through this tricky or delicate problem.

Sometimes the sidebar starts from where the main body ends (vertically). This is because of column width issues. If you still can't locate the sidebar, try reinstalling wp.
