Hi petereff:
Good start, but, I think a bit of re-formatting would be helpful.
Adsense ads. Preferred positions are one or two upper left corner area, and down the right side, where the readers eye falls at the end of a sentence.
People read from left to right. Most of the stuff you currently have on the right will never be seen. Most readers will be so intent on centering your text so that they can read it that they will never see the two right side columns.
Screen is too wide. I have a 17" monitor and it does not fit. I must scroll to see it. Think about the folks with older and smaller monitors - probably the bulk of your potential market. Laptops??
I would re-format the screen. Place your middle column of ads on the left side of the text. Shorten the typed information lines. They do not have to be so long.Test to ensure that the full site appears on the screen without having to move it left and right. In other words, make it a comfortable experience for the reader.
Leave your larger collection of adsense, erc, where it is on the far right.
That way, while reading an article the eye may pick up something on the left. (Catch an Ad). It always ends on the right - so an adsense Ad there makes sense.
Some folk also place a couple of Adsense Ads right in the middle of the article and screen. You actually get a break in the text, and the eye has to pass right over them to continue reading the article.
Good Luck!
