Navigation Menu Questions

Hello,

I have 2 questions about the navigation:

I am using pages of the WP for static info. The right side navigation menu has all the page titles. Once I click on a title and go into the page, side menu does not show up. This happens with the blog posts as well. Blog posts show only the category and not the individual posts under the category. Is it supposed to be like this or is something that can be fixed? How do I fix this?

The other question I had was about the categories in pages. I want to have subtitles to group these articles. For example, I have articles on website promotion, affiliate marketing, web design etc. I want the side menu to show the following:

Website promotion

Article 1
Article 2

Affiliate Marketing

Article 1
Article 2

Web Design

Article 1
Article 2

This will help in easier navigation if the articles are grouped under sub-categories.

Can this be done in the WP templates?
