"Installer" substitute.

Hi, everybody there and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

After an unsuccessful search in the FAQ and in other forum threads about my issue i am looking for someone to help me to carry on.

I have an old version of the books WP Adsense System where recomends the plugin "Installer" to start.

Since i found out it is no longer working, in my ignorance i got completely stuck adn confused.

Can some angelic soul give me a clue what to use to get started instead of Installer?

I will really appreciate that as a "New Year" Gift, as you can see i am absolutely new to Blog.

You can check out the video tutorials that came with the WAS purchase to learn how you can install plugins manually.

There are no substitutes for the installer plugin as far as I know, but I've never really searched for it either. It's really quite easy to install plugins manually, just upload them via FTP into your plugins folder and activate from your dashboard
