Custom Fields: Adding Video

Ok, I have been trying to post a video on my blog for the last 2 days and I have read the wordpress explanation about how to use them. I CANNOT get it to work. When I post it just comes up with some jibber jabber like this...


Hey, this is my video that i thought was funny addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youblogitall.com%2F%3Fp%3D30'; addthis_title = 'Funny+Video'; addthis_pub = 'thecoofunka';


I have read the whole explanation. I have even tryed to use a plugin where you can just type in [flashvideo filename=URL HERE] and still does not work. Can someone please explain to me in very very simple terms how to add a video to my blog? I'm sure I'm not the only one that's have such a problem.
