How can I let the parent Category only appears on my side bar?

From what I see, it's actually a widget. You need to go to your Presentation > Widgets and drag the widget to your sidebar to make it appear on your blog.

yes dear it is a widget but in the explanation of the widget there is a way o change the style of the widegt itself and the code to change the style is mentioned but i dont know where exactly to add this code , do you have any idea (from the explanation) where should i add the code to the widget code?

I'm not sure if I got what you mean, but if you're talking about styles, then you need to add the code in your CSS to create the styles for your widget. Everything else can be configured in your widget's option.
