Javasript links don't work??

Hi,

I have tried inserting links for affiliate programs which I have got through Commission Junction. These are in the format of 'Javascipt'.

When I come to test them to make sure they are working, the links don't do anything.. You can find them in my recent post on my blog...

Do I need a plug in to make javascript work, have I missed something when I have been reading up on Wordpress or does Javascript simply not work with WordPress?

This CJ thing is really quite annoying. They will be phasing out the legacy links soon so everyone is forced to use Javascript...

As far as I know, Javascript works fine in the sidebar / header / footer of WP. I'm using some on my sidebar.

For individual posts I think you need this plugin:
http://wp-plugins.net/plugin/inline-js

I have not tried it though, so if you do, can you please also post the results in this thread?

I've just installed the script, activated it made a post with a javascript link in and it still doesn't appear to work. I couldn't find any instructions on what else I needed to do to make it work - I'll keep looking..

{Edit: I've just found a new way that might work for the time being. There is a setting in CJ which allows you to choose whether it is for website or e-mail. I tried the e-mail setting and it made it into just a html link - I posted this in and tested it. And heypresto... it worked and directed me to the affiliated site.. I'm not sure if this is an option on all affiliated links through CJ at the moment but I am living in hope

I wanted to suggest using that type of link in CJ but wasnt too sure about it..
I think it's a standard link type for text ads, but not sure for banners..
