XML Site Map Generator

I am hoping someone can help me out with this.

I am using Super Affiliate Blogger, but I am having a problem with the XML Site Map Generator. I get a message that says "There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable." Even after uploading again.

What's the dummy's way of fixing this?

I assume you're referring to the Google Sitemap Generator plugin. After uploading the plugin folder, you need to manually create 2 files in your wordpress's directory:

1. sitemap.xml
2. sitemap.xml.gz

Both files need to have their permissions set to 666. Double check the readme.txt in the plugin folder if you need more detailed instructions on this

Yeah, thanks. I finally figured out how to create those 2 files.

The sitemap generator is a must-have WordPress plugin in my opinion. Be sure that you've optimized the settings for maximum results.
