Enabling social bookmarking tags on posts

I am having trouble getting the social bookmarking icons to appear at the end of my posts.

I have checked some sociable options on the dashboard and have a sociable plug-in activated. I am not sure if I need both.

What am I missing to get them to appear?

Make sure the plugin is compatible w/ your version of WordPress. Most of the social plugins should display automatically within the bottom of your individual post pages (not on category pages or archives though).
