 installing installer plugin
hi, i'm new. my name is brian. i've been trying to install the installer plugin and having a hard time. i open the ftp software and enter my cpanel address, username, and password. when i run the program i keep getting a message saying "unable to resolve host name". my hosting company has made suggestions including using my cpanel ip address. didn't work. they suggested setting up the subdomain atp.mydomain.com. didn't work. i know this should not be this difficult. does anyone know why i keep getting this "unable to resolve host name" message? i'm about to drop my host company (an hosting) but i don't know if it's their fault or not. can ANYBODY help me? |
