How do I CHmod of Root Directory?

Hello,

In my WP-security dashboard, there is a section called 'scanner' and all the permission settings are ok except for the top one, which is the root directory. It's saying it needs to be 755 and it is currently 750.

It is displayed by the symbol ../ but that symbol is not listed in my FTP client for me to change the permissions for it! What canI do?
