Default Blogging browsers of choice

Assuming you are on the PC like I am, my favourites would be:

Mozilla Firefox (www.mozilla.org) with the performancing plugin (http://performancing.com/firefox)

Alternatively, a new browser, optimized for blogging is also available.
check out: Flock www.flock.com.
It's currently in beta though, so it's not entirely stable yet.

My no 1 choice is firefox too. Heard of performancing some time back but have not check it out yet. What does this plug-in do? Is it a posting tool like JustBlogIt .

Default Safari and Firefox

Since I'm on a Mac, my favourite for general browsing is Safari
It's super-cool and works well with the other Mac applications as well.

But for some reason, if you open your Wordpress Dashboard and try to write a post in Safari, you don't get the advanced editor. That's the only reason I use Firefox...

Safari also has an easier-to-use RSS bookmarking function...

the performancing plug in does some blogging related stuff. as far as i can tell, it pulls up a post editor. but i havent played with it much.

maybe i am an 'ol skool' guy. i still use text editors (hyped up steroid-enhanced versions of notepad) for much of my work.

check out flock. it has a photo/image gallery where you can insert images into your block posts.

(again, i have to do it the hard way to handcode the img src's into my post...)

Flock is quite stable for me. I don't use any other browser nowadays. Plus you have a free software called flocker that converts mozilla plugins and extensions into flock usable ones.

Wow i've never heard of the performancing plug in for Firefox.. will check it out. I also use the old version of Mozilla for simply browsing/surfing. heh cos I'm simply reluctant to change!

Andrew,

Since you have started this topic, why not put in the poll option for people to vote their browsers preferences?? Create some interactive in the forum look better..

It is very simple step only.. just go back to your 1st post and edit it! See whether you can put in the option to run the poll... u dont need to write anything... just add in the survey.
