I'm sure you've just installed the latest version of Wordpress 2.3. When they made this update, a lot of the older plugins did not work.
Therefore, you can ignore the "Installer" plugin, just upload all plugins manually to your hosting using FTP. The themes should work, just check if you are actually uploading them to the correct folder, and if you have actiated them in youe Wordpress account under Presentation > Themes
The Super Adsense theme will replace the currect themes:

The new version of Wordpress Adsense System will be out by end of this month.
