I just finished the WPAS and as an exercise, I would like to convert an old exisiting site to a WP site. Later I would like to use the Rapid Niche Website software to kick it up another notch! What is the best way to proceed? Any help most appreciated. Thanks dblues

Bizolink: The site is an old site (not a blog site). It was designed by someone else but I have not really been promoting it and it gets almost no traffic. There is a blog for the site but I have not posted to it in a while and it's fairly generic. The software I mentioned is from the course..look in the resources section and you will see a description there. dblues

Gobala : The site has a blog but it's very boring. I want to spruce it up a bit. The site and blog was created by another person since I do not know much web design (it is my first site!). I don't event know how to access the blog!!!! Since it does not get any traffic I was thinking to scrap the site and turn it into a blog site. This will give me some practice. Then later I can get the software and really spruce it up! The problem is how do I "deconstruct" the old site and turn it into a blog site? Thanks, dblues

Now it's lot more easier to answer your question, if you are thinking to completely abolish the old site, just backup all the file in the web server and delete all the file in the web server and follow the instruction of WPAS to setup a blog from scratch. If you would like to maintain the old site, you can create a subfolder (aka subdomain) to place your blog. Or you could backup your old site to a subfolder and put a link from your new setup blog to the old site. This is what I can thought of, does that answer your question?
