lost my header

Hi hope someone can help me out. Don't know what I did but some how I have lost my header. I was changing the colors for top and bottom and when I went to see what it looked like Teresa's Blog was gone. can some one tell me how to get it back.

Can you post your blog url to us here so that we can take a look.

Also, I suggest you try to look at your blog folder as below location:

http://your-domain.com/wp-content/themes/your-current-theme

see if there is a file called header.php. If it is missing, it could be you have deleted it accidentily. Do let me know whether the file is missing.

Thanks for responding so quickly. My blog url is: Teresa’s Blog. I think I may have deleted that code you asked about as i don't think i see it, but then again, I don't know because it all looks like a jigsaw puzzle to me. Am I allowed to cut and paste what I see under 'Header' here so you can see what i have.

But here is another question: Because I don't know what I did in the first place and I would like to know how to fix it in case I should make that same blunder in the future - I was surfing around in wordpress and found a couple themes that are really neat. Can I Just change mine (really plain and blahhhhh) or do i need a ph.d to install a different one, and should stick to the one I have?

Don't mean to be a pest - its just that I truly want to know what I'm doing, but so far between my website and this blog I seem to be all thumbs, and they don't even belong to me (thumbs that is )
