I am still haveing problems

I am still haveing problems with the installer and I have not had a reply
so I guess I will stick with wp massinstaller it is a lot eayser to work
I have spent all day trying to install the installer and it will not work

what kind of problem is that, if I may ask...mayb you can elaborate a bit..like description of the problem, what have you tried and not....things like.

I have tryied installing like the book says and it will not work Iam useing
hostgator for hosting Iam not useing ftp but iam uploading each file sepratly
and iam installing it to the plugins file

Anyway, you have try your best, that's a good try. However more information will be needed in order to know what exactly you have done wrong. You uploaded separately? I am not sure what you mean here, you should need a FTP to upload the whole wordpress installation folder to the webserver to install wordpress.

Please describe what do you mean installing into the plugin file, sound curios to me..

on my server I can upload each file seperate after I unzip them I uploaded
them to the content plugins folder and when I hit the plugins tab in
wordpress and click actavate it comes up wrong error

There might be some corrupted plugin, try backing up all plugin and delete all plugin in the folder and upload it one by one. After uploaded one and activate it, althought it's take times, however it's better than you trying to figure out what went wrong.

You just setup this blog? if so, try reinstalling it. Hope it help.

Hi Richard,

I have replied wagner in this post and you can refer to Checklist of most frequent asked troubleshooting quesitons.

Download the latest version from the devleoper (link provided in the post) and that will solve your problem.

hey richard...

by the way ...did u upload everything correctly. you need to be sure that there is no missing file whatsoever. using a ftp software would be better since you can track the file transfered more easily....and continued anytime if there is any breakdown in the transfer.....
