Default Auto Social Poster - Submit Posts Automatically to Bookmarking Sites

A few days ago Sean Wu and Anthony Ellis released a Wordpress plugin called “Auto Social Poster”. If you’ve been submitting sites to social bookmarking portals by hand or using som kind of spammy software, stop and take a look at Auto Social Poster.

Auto Social Poster is a simple plugin for Wordpress that will automatically submit all posts you publish to your social bookmarking accounts. Currently, it supports Del.icio.us, Blinklist, Blogmarks, Furl, Magnolia, Reddit, Myweb, Shadows, Simpy, Scuttle and Spurl.

Unlike the Delicioso software I mentioned a few weeks back, this is truly automated. In fact for the past few days I’ve been submitting my sites automatically without even realizing it.
The key factor that makes Autosocial Poster different from other spammy software is the ability to randomize your summission.

You can choose to submit to only a handful of social bookmarking sites every time you publish a post.

This makes your submissions look less like spam, since it’s scattered across all your bookmarking sites instead of having the same post appear in all of them.

Auto Social Poster is a paid plugin, but in my opinion it’s worth the money. With autosocialposter I don’t need to worry about this aspect of blogging anymore.

I have to agree that Sean Wu's product is very good. His first product
'Tag & Ping' really made things clear about using social bookmarking. Now
with this follow-on product it just takes it to the next level and helps to
systemise the whole process more easily.

Cheers,
David

Hey Robotys,
good to put a pic to your name.

---
yeah, i think at $29 or $47 it would be easier to swallow.
$127 is something to think very hard about.

at the same time, i've spoken to a number of SEO guys and they're saying off-site SEO is becoming more important than on-site, so backlinking and social bookmarking could be more prominent.

(though i have to say, i hardly do social bookmarking and i'm getting abt 3000 uniques a month... so *shrug*)

Yeah, it is a fact now. Read more on SEO and you`ll stumble that. "Backlinking" is the new SEO "Big Secret" (not anymore though :P)

Hi Robotys,

There is not secret here as well.. all you need to do is keep posting / participating in multiple targeted forums, put your linkback website in your signature files. Since you are very helpful and all your contents are very eye-catching, The more you post the more you get people arose about your website.

With that method, I can also get multiple 1000 unique visitors a month. However, you need to have mixture of both strategy, i.e. posting in forum & social bookmarking. You will never know someone visit the social bookmarting and click to your website.

Just try on the suggested methods here. You will see your website traffic has tremendous growth.

P/S: I am not suggest you must buy the products, but with that, you can make your job easily to accompolish. Talking about the whether the product is pricy or not... it is up to individuals to justify.

P/S/S: Do you have buddy to grow along the journey to build your website? If not, I suggest you do so .... the advantage of having buddy(ies) is 1) you can learn from each other fast, 2) sharing the resources - you should know what resources I mean here.

ok, here is my opinion.
if i had $127 cash spare. i would go ahead and buy it.

at the moment, i am prioritizing my affiliate mktg side, so i saving my funds for that.

i would really suggest in the long term, you look at building a list instead.
i did some consulting sessions with ewen chia and he strongly suggest that a list is the most important.

after i talked to him, i also realized a list is much more important than just pure traffic.

you can sell to a list easily, they cannot run away from you.

on a blog, they will read your blog. if they like, they will buy.
if they do not buy, you cannot easily follow up with them without their email address.

i tell you one technique i useds which is quite powerful, especially if you are in internet marketing niche.

go sign up for Conquer Your Niche forum.

those people are mad.
really.
they don't sleep.
i got people visiting my blog 24 hours, and sending me email and commenting on my blog.

I blogged about it here: Traffic Generation from Russell Brunson and Conquer Your Niche at Andrew Wee | Internet Marketing | Blogging | Affiliate Marketing | Adsense | Strategies
and you will meet the who's who of the internet world there: mike filsamie, keith 'death of adsense' baxter, cody moya and all the big names.

remember, i am a new blogger (4mths old).
look at this chart:
Related Info for: whoisandrewwee.com/

the traffic is quite mad, especially since i am posting 1-2 posts a day (sometimes up to 4 times)

and my alexa ranking has dropped to 11,188 on my best day.

but i would still suggest the best is to build up your list.
it is the way to make money from your blog.

I've checked out this plugin as it looks very useful and could save a lot of time. It's possible to do it all yourself with individual notifications to individual SB sites, or you can use one of the free web-based SB submitting engines all of which is time consuming, so at first glance ASP looks great.

However...

The documentation with ASB plugin suggests you don't use ASB to automatically ping EVERY SB site EVERY time you post as the SB sites quickly detect spamming (which is what it is) and block your account. The ASP folk recommend you vary the SB sites you want to notify with each posting to avoid that.

Since that technique requires individual 'tuning' for each post, does it really save you any time?

Anyone with 'hands-on' experience of this plugin and its proper usage?
