How Do I Ping My Site

How do use the lists given bt Steven to ping my site.

I have visited the list, what i can get is the code like below.

How do i go from here.

just copy the list and paste it in options-->writing-->update services

Hi Wong,

The ping list is to be inserted into Option>Writing scroll down to bottom of the page, on the Update Services, with the textarea provided, insert the list of ping list inside, you might need just put in those that you think is needed, getting too many list inside will just take your time to get a post to saved.

How did you get the error? that's strange, where is the error occur?

I believe you can copy the list content and paste it in option-->writing-->update services

You got to read my blog post (with picture screenshot) to find out how to update your ping list.

It is quite straight forward explaination and you will how you can also do it.

i think you clicked on the URL?

it's supposed to be keyed into your blog settings.

i'm assuming you're using wordpress?
from your admin panel, go to 'options' 'writing"

under 'update services' you paste the entire list there.

and click on 'update options'

quite easily done.

ps: i am using pingoat.com now. and my traffic is spiking quite a bit.

it updates new ping services like octora.com (think that's correct spelling).

my alexa rank is now about 11k to 25k.
