I still remember my first days blogging away. I didn’t really know much about design and tools and all the free applications one can find on the Internet.
It is amazing what we can digg up with a little search and creativity. For those of you who are a bit challenged when it comes to designing your own icons from scratch, you might like the following site.
Icon Finder gives us hundreds of free icons in whatever keyword search you can rustle up. For example I did a search for “internet” and the following screen shot is what the search returned. Look at those cool icons.
The following screen shot shows results from the search “e“.
or “bookmark”
You can do a search either by typing the keyword into the search bar at the top of the site’s window, or even better use their tag cloud to find things faster.
One thing to take into account is the icon licenses. You can read the license information here.
A great site for those looking to pretty up their blogs, create their own ebooks, websites or whatever use you can dream up for these groovy icons.
