OnlyWire LogOnlyWire provides a services that takes the hard work out of bookmarking your blog posts, articles at social bookmarking sites. This is because after you make a post on your blog, you can automatically bookmark that post at 19 different services that OnlyWire provides. And that will generate 19 backlinks to your site instantly.

So if you are looking for exposure for your blogs or websites, one of the best ways to drive traffic to your blog posts, articles or sites is to make it easier for users to ‘vote up’ your site at the social bookmarking site and Onlywire will enable you to submit your blog post, article or sites to multiple social bookmarking sites all at once.

Also if you only make use of Onlywire naturally, meaning that you bookmark sites you like and not just your blog posts and articles then your accounts at each of the social bookmarking engines that Onlywire connects you to will enable you to gain TrustRank and PageRank over time.

The 19 different services that OnlyWire currently supports are as follows:-

Name Service
backflip http://www.backflip.com
bibsonomy http://www.bibsonomy.org
blinklist http://www.blinklist.com
blogmemes http://www.blogmemes.net
bluedot http://www.bluedot.us
delirious http://de.lirio.us
delicious http://del.icio.us
diigo http://www.diigo.com
furl http://www.furl.net
jots http://jots.com
linkroll http://linkroll.com
looklater http://www.looklater.com
magnolia http://ma.gnolia.com
markaboo http://www.markaboo.com
rawsugar http://www.rawsugar.com
shadows http://www.shadows.com
simpy http://simpy.com
spurl http://www.spurl.net
wink http://www.wink.com

The OnlyWire services includes a page which explains how to add “Add Only Wire” to your blog or website. Also there is a page dedicated to recently tagged pages. This specific page is continuosly updated with different articles, blog posts, websites so whatever you post will not be on the recently tagged page for that long.

I do like the service that OnlyWire provides as it enables you to submit your articles, blogs posts to 19 social bookmarking sites at once which will guarantee you 19 backlinks to you site. However, users are not obliged to post to all the social bookmarking engines.

OnlyWire also provides a facility to pick and choose the social bookmarking sites a user prefers to submit to. A user is only required to log on to whichever social bookmarking they wish to submit their entries to.

My only concern is that I hope it wouldn’t turn out as an opportunity for spammers to misuse the service OnlyWire provides. Onlywire does state on their website that any user misusing the service will have their account terminated and IP address blocked.

hi gobala,

Thanks for sharing information on “Automate Your Social Bookmarking for Free “.

I would like to add some of my personal experience in using Only Wire Service. Initially, as a new user, you need sign up all the 19 services and verify the services by confirming your email. (the usual stuff).

However, seems to me not all the 19 services are avaliable now. About 3 to 4 services no longer valid. Besides, I find it strange how come DIGG is not included into their list. As we know DIGG is an important social site as well.

Besides, only wire also advice people not to social bookmark a same site too often. What you can do it submit your new blog post in throughtout the day. It would be good to submit all related post of a particular niche using one account. For other niches you’re in, it would be good to get a separate account on Only Wire. This would mean creating new username and repeat the whole process again.

I personally feel that if you are promoting products using squidoo, this is a good way to drive some targeted traffic to your lens plus putting your lens ranked onto google search.

Enjoy your profits!

Digg and Netscape (and the other, similar sites) aren’t for bookmarking. They are for promoting NEWS which is very different. Each link should be submitted only once and then “dugg” while with bookmarking the matches are made after submission and more matches are signs of popularity.

It would be good to see some activity on OnlyWire given that some of the sites are blocking it. In the meantime I’m just taking a look at http://www.onlies.net/multisubmit/index.php – slower but more authentic.
