imageA lot things you do for your blog is nothing but a waste of your time. Some of these things, while necessary, certainly does not generate more income for you. The solution: outsource!

While you can outsource to just about anyone, the trend today is to outsource to the Philippines. Why the Philippines and not India or some other country?

According to Replace Yourself, an outsourcing guide by John Jonas, here’s why:

  1. Philippinos speak and write good English, are are easy to instruct
  2. It’s relatively cheaper to outsource to Philippines compared to most other English-speaking countries
  3. They value foreign employers and are happy to work for a Caucasian boss

I think the selling point is that it’s easy to tell them what you want and with a little training, get them up to speed with your working style and work rate. Plus, communication is key and generally speaking it’s easier to understand Philippinos than a lot of other people.

John Jonas, the anti-guru, set-up Replace Myself to help marketers and bloggers outsource their work to the Philippines. Starting on Day 1 of your subscription, you’ll receive:

  1. Private Vault Videos: Detailed videos giving you the inside track on exactly how John’s company trains overseas workers to be the best marketers possible
  1. Effective Training Tools: Exclusive access to the actual training tools we use to create our elite assistants
  1. How to Hire Guidebook: A step-by-step audio guidebook that shows you how to quickly hire your own outsourced employee

Even if you think you never ever want anyone to touch the content part of your blog, there’s still a whole lot of stuff you can outsource, such as:

  • Researching topics and compiling a list of sites
  • Installing WordPress, themes and plugins
  • Keyword research and compilation
  • Leaving related comments of other blogs
  • Social bookmarking and blog submissions
  • Search Engine Optimization or SEO

If you can show someone else exactly how it’s done, you can outsource it. John’s idea is to “replace” yourself as soon as possible, and working not more than 17 hours a week on your online business.

Recommended: Get 14-day trial to Replace Myself or listen to the outsourcing audio.

I’ve never ever considered to outsource to a specific geo targeted location such as the Philippines, once I have money to outsource instead of constant business investments I shall try this thanks!!

Thanks for highlighting the advantages of blog outsourcing to the Philippines.

Blogging is a fast-growing trend in a country that’s already recognized worldwide as a top-outsourcing destination in terms of infrastructure and cost-effectivity.

Filipinos have a great work ethic for the right compensation and of course, communication is vital in maintaining a positive and profitable relationship.

Outsource is the key to 6 figures income! You can’t do all the work yourself, you need staff or outsourcing!

Outsourcing is better way:
1. You just need to manage the quality and not your
team!
2. Keep your expenses low.
3. Easily scale up if you find good outsource.

Outsourcing could gain a lot of new faces to a company. It’s really profitable and bring in huge traffic if done right.

I find it interesting that specifically this was a selling point They value foreign employers and are happy to work for a Caucasian boss, instead of English speaking business people. So does this mean if your are Hispanic, Latino, Laotian, Pakistani or Black outsourcing to the Philippines isn’t an option for your business?

In the 21st Century it appears racism is something else we can export. Thanks for the heads up.

“does this mean if your are Hispanic, Latino, Laotian, Pakistani or Black outsourcing to the Philippines isn’t an option for your business?” – that’s out of context.

You have an advantage if you’re Caucasian, but anyone can outsource. I think that’s because of residual “colonist mentality”.

Same thing here in Malaysia, everyone knows if you’re white you get better pay, posh houses and big cars when the same job can be done by any other Malaysian.

Welcome to the real world :)

I understand the comment that it seems strange to read such a statement about “caucasian” and I totally understand Gobalas reply….its sad but true. When I was there (in the Phillipines) I was surprised at all the commmercial products to “whiten” the skin. There is a side of me that is appalled and another that says…sell skin whitening products! Another sad fact is that, although the Phillipines is very eager to do business with other countries, companies like paypal still do not trust one of the most corrupt countrys called Phillipines. Having said that, the dollar is very strong there and the outsourcing opportunity sounds like a great investment.

Yes, i agree with Gobala to outsource some of your task to third party so that we can concentrate more on the marketing of our website which is the most important part in achieving success in internet business.

I personally have a freelance writer from Philipines, he is very professional and can deliver the task to me on time in good english. Of course, you have to tell him what you want in details before assign him the task. And the fees charged is relatively low if compared to other countries.

Good to try if you never outsource before!

I am a big proponent of outsourcing, and have been outsourcing to the Philippines for almost a year with mixed results.

One of the keys to success is a very thorough understanding of what it is you’re trying to outsource. Whether it’s the Philippines or India or the US, the more detailed your project description is, the smoother things will go.

What good is paying a low price if it takes them 10 times longer to do the task correctly?

As for blogging under your name, your going to have to kiss a lot of frogs to find someone you would be willing to trust blogging as you.

Even though they are college graduates, their English is good enough to communicate, but I find it rare to find someone from the Philippines to deliver top-notch content without a rewrite.

Just my experience.

I am an American and run an outsourcing service here in the Philippines where I have lived for the last 7 years. Filipinos do speak better English than other non-Western English speaking countries, but their writing is not so good. It is a job finding people here with good English, but once found it is easy to keep them with very good pay (very good being relative to the Philippines — we only charge $2.50 per hour for unskilled, non-thinking webmaster helpers).

Outsourcing in the Philippines gives you high quality blogging services at very cheap rates. Though some Filipinos are not that experts in writing and speaking the English language, they are very smart and quick to pick up. So mastering the English language is not that hard for Filipinos.

I am from the Philippines and all I can say is that what you write here is true. BUt India is really giving us a pain on our ass.. They are also great English speakers, actually the top bosses of call centers here are manage by INdians and other Americans and it is very rare to have a Filipino who is in the highest position of a Call center.
