    • Plugin: List Categories in Columns Alphabetically

    The Multi Column Category List Plugin generates an alphabetical listing of your Wordpress categories in multiple columns, with the option of choosing the number of columns and how you would like them to be split up. For instance, you could have above the “A” categories “Categories: A”.

    The category list can easily be added to any post or page with the trigger text <!-- multicolcats -->, or called directly from a template file, using a small line of PHP. A CSS file is also included for easy style changes. Options that can be changed in the admin section are: number of columns to display, whether to separate the categories and, if so, how and which categories to exclude.
