My first “Quick Plugins Link”. Basically I don’t have time to write abou ti now but want to make sure I have a list of them when I have the time to evaluate them. Here goes:
- Archivist - Selects a defined number of (random) posts from the archive and shows them on the front page as the featured post.
- Random Words - from within a neat admin interface, manage lists of “items” (words, quotes, images…) and display random items in your pages or posts.
- What Would Seth Godin Do - Display a separate message to new visitors, welcoming them to your site and inviting them to become subscribers.

- Welcome Visitor! - Similar to WWSGD, displays a welcome message on your sidebar, or perhaps a personal introduction on your home page, or whatever and wherever your heart desires! Easy updating of message through the welcome message editor.
- SRG Clean Archives - Displays achived posts neatly on a single page

- Front Page Filter - Filter by category the main website page. Your website front page will show posts fron the selected category only, or show all posts except the selected category.

- Breadcrumb Navigation XT - A WP 2.0 compatible plugin that adds a breadcrumb navigation to WordPress to show the visitor’s path to their current location.
