Graydient has been released back in middle of February this year and it is a nice sleek looking WordPress theme. The simplicity if it all is perhaps its strong point and it would be idea for Zen related or yoga blog in my eyes.

Graydient wordpress theme

Features:

  • Graydient is a two column theme
  • It is widget ready
  • Sidebar is on the right hand side
  • Fixed width

You can test the theme before downloading. It is really simple and there is no fuss and clutter to deter from the actual content of the site.

Navigation is fast and loads well, due to the clutter free environment. The theme was designed by Voidix of Top WP Themes.

Top WP Themes has a wide range of good looking WordPress themes for all tastes and preferences. It pays to have a look at their creations as you might just find what you are looking for.

It’s really clutter free and that makes it more beautiful. I specially liked the orange logo at the top.

Definitely made for posts with lots of words.

I like the gray body background. It doesn’t hurt the eyes.

Hi Monika – this is probably OT, but can you point me in the direction of some reputable paid WP themes? I always appreciate your insights and advice, and would love some references from you :) Thanks!

I really like the black to grey blend. Like the commenter above me said, it’s easy on the eyes.

@ everyone: thanks for your input on this post. I also love the simplicity of this design. It is easy on the eye and doesn’t add clutter.

@ Stephanie: I’m a big fan of Brian Gardeners themes. Gobala as a matter of fact also has some great themes http://themes.easywordpress.com/ too. I’ve also hear from Gobala himself that he likes Adii’s themes. I use Brian’s themes on several sites and have also used Gobala’s Adsense theme on another blog.

I liked them both and never had issues with either. Other than that, I don’t know because I haven’t personally experienced any other premium themes.

It always helps to check out the forums associated with any theme designer, if there is one. Also Justin Adlock has some great free themes that look like premium themes too and I’ve used them and still use them now.

Hope this helps you.

Justin Adlock! I’m a big fan since the day you mentioned about him. I’m using his ‘Options’ theme in my guitar blog. It’s so cool! The only thing I can’t figure out is the image rotating thingy, very complicated.

Oh one sec! Are you talking about Justin Tadlock or Adlock? If I am not wrong it’s Justin Tadlock and coincidently I have just seen a wordpress template that I liked and ended up finding out Justin’s name at bottom of the blog.

Yeah I think it’s ‘Tadlock’. I even post a reply by copying the name from Monika’s post.. :P

I just pulled his name from his website justintadlock.com. Anyways, it’s not that important but just to keep ourselves updated. You never know when we would like to use his wordpress templates.

@ LiC: so sorry, my apologies. For some reasons I always get his name wrong. LOL. I meant Justin Tadlock, so thanks for following this up. I will and adjust this in the post.

@ Kay: It looks like I confused you as well. LOL, talking about making a mess. Hope you forgive me for my mistake. It is definitely this guy I’m talking about. http://justintadlock.com/
