I think marketers are just now figuring out the Twitter thing. Check out all the IMrs on it now and their focus.
I think the days of I just ate a donut are about over on Twitter and look for more content.

I will be interested to see how this plug-in http://www.tweetmyblog.com/?rid=1719
and others like it affect marketing for all business.

I don't know men! Twitter is like reporting to people out there our every movement in our daily lives. Like if you are blogger, you are supposed to be writing what you know best. That's why I still find Technorati is still by far reflects the expertise of the authors behind the desk. With Twitter, it is trendy and fashionable. Just claimed a new blog on Technorati too.

I too am on an older version of Wordpress and noticed that the Incoming Links on my dashboard hasn't been updated in almost a month.

I also subscribe to my the RSS feed of my name in Technorati and was floored when my reader showed me that around 20 people blogged about me in one day. However, when I checked the timestamp, those 20 blog posts were done over a 2 month period. It seems like Technorati updates it directory ever so often now.

Is Technorati dying? I think so. And it doesn't help that Technorati updates itself once every couple of months. It then becomes useless and not relevant.
