The Easiest Way To Install Wordpress

I’ve been asked “What is the easiest way to install Wordpress?”

The easiest way is to ask your webmaster to do it for you :)

Seriously though, since most people (including me) don’t have a full time webmaster, then using Cpanel is definately the easiest way.

Here’s a screenshot of how Cpanel looks like:

Hi Gobala,
Good info.
I believe most web hosts come with fantastico and cPanel which provides easy 1-click installation of wordpress.
in fact, i find that wordpress is much better in terms of features and functions, compared to other platforms like blogger, movable type, etc.

Hi Gobala:
I am a relative newbie to all of this. I was wondering what the symbols are, and what do they do, under your Share and Enjoy: I am always sceptical about opening new things without explanations. They have such cute names and some I can’t pronounce.

Hi Teresa,

Those are Social Boomarks. Similar to the bookmark function in your Internet Explorer, but you can also share / categorize / publish them on the Internet…

You should try Del.icio.us first:
http://del.icio.us

Sign up and the next time you read this blog you can add posts to your online bookmarks :)

Greetings! Thank you so much for this information. I was getting worried as I needed to upgrade my wordpress, and as I’m no expert, plus I was afraid of loosing all my pages, your post came to solve my problem. Thank you for the explanation. Cheers from Sahara Desert!
