Wordpress 2.3 Improves Multi-Author Blogging
Wordpress 2.3 is scheduled for release on September 20, 2007. Among other things, it’s supposed to include internal tagging features (bye bye Ultimate Tag Warrior?) and one feature that I’m personally waiting for, which is better multi-author management.

We have a nice little workflow improvement for those of you who use the Contributor role on your blogs. Contributors can now submit their posts for review by an Editor. When Contributors are done editing their post, they press the “Submit for Review” button to put the post in the Editor’s pending review queue.
One of the problem’s I’m facing in the correct Wordpress is managing multiple authors. With this “Submit for Review” feature I can have an editor for each blog who will edit and approve / reject posts by authors. Especially useful for new authors who may or may not adhere to your quality standards, thus you may not want their posts to go live right away.
