New WordPress Auction Plugin Let’s You Sell Your Unwanted Goods

in Wordpress Plugins

Here is a nifty new Plugin that is currently in Beta-ish version. It is called Auction and allows you to sell your existing garb from home without having to give EBay a slice of the profits. Designed by Hyder who is the guy behind the Cow’s cool logos, the Plugin looks promising right now.

Released on Feb 22nd you will be one of the first to feature this nifty little on your blog. Below you see the Plugin in action on John Cow’s site. He is currently auctioning off a 5th generation 30 GB iPod Video.

Hyder is also working on developing some more styles for the style store which will allow you to customize the Plugin with color according to your blog design. At this stage I’m not sure whether these custom styles will incur any cost or not.

But for the sake of clearing out your shed or spare room and getting rid of some clutter that is another men’s treasure, why not use the

WordPress Auction Plugin.

As I already mentioned, it is early days yet and you’ll have to visit Hyder’s blog to stay up to date with his Plugin.

Thanks for writing about our humble little plugin.

Also, I would like to bring your attention to the other little feature of this plugin. You can get some free traffic for your auctions by registering your auctions RSS feed on our Live page.

I certainly gonna take a detailed look at this plugin after the dinner. This sounds interesting, at least at Cow’s blog.

@ Hyder: you are welcome and thanks for the mention on the auction.

@ LiC: yes, it is looking good. I even thought about using it myself on one of my blogs. Actually I think I will as it is allowing me to sell of stuff locally. ;-)
