Wordpress Plugin – Duplicate Content Cure

I’m sure you come across all standard “Wordpress SEO” articles that discuss the obvious things that you can do to optimize your Wordpress blog.

Most of them will focus on optimizing titles, permalinks, meta keywords and description tags, and also adding the Google sitemap. Although all this are important, there is still one big one missing.

The default wordpress structure is actually non-search-engine-friendly. The same archives, categories, built-in search and home page navigation that don’t feature any unique content at all. They usually features the excerpt of the full post or complete duplicate copies of the full posts in chronological order. all this same content repeated again and again, dilute the value of the most important pages on the site: the post and the pages.

Enough worrying this, comes a very nifty wordpress plugin known as Wordpress Duplicate Content Cure. It is a very simple yet effective SEO plugin that prevents search engines from indexing wordpress pages that contain duplicate content.

It is that simple, that no further explanation is needed.

I suggest you give this plugin a try. Just download it from here.

This is a very strange plugin. I want the most possible pages indexed, and with this plugin, the objective is the opposite. I’ll pass this one :)
